Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

The sump must have lighting if not a kraken!

Sorry @Musovski I know that sucks.

@Katrina71 I will bring some stuff to light under the stand when I bring back your hood. If you want custom wire clips, let me know. I have to get out some for a very nice guy in STL when the new blue filament comes in so it's no problem printing you some if you want. Just let me know the color

I have a question to add to this. Does oxygenation enhance the fuges ability to process organics? Triton ( TREND?FAD) requires a 10x turnover and Would require skimming to catch whats missed due to that turnover.
It Just seems counter intuitive, Not that I will have to worry about such things:rolleyes:
All organisms like oxygen, form bacteria to plants. So yes.

Triton doesn’t not separate he sump from the dt. It’s one system.
Traditionaly , lower flow through the sump(gut) to process nutrients and send happy water to the DT.
Triton system makes the whole system the gut. The chato just happens to live downstairs.

Then the big bad wolf tested and tested and tested and dosed the House down.

Lol. Triton scares me. I’d rather do water changes.

I run triton. Almost a year in and it’s fine. My LFS icp is near on point. I’m planning on doing a icp from triton. Also triton doesn’t mean water changes. My first icp was through them and it told me 5 water changes of 15%.
