This ball valve will work good for the drain right? On a herbie setup. If not plz let me know haha.
It will work, but gate valves are better for tuning in a drain line.

Lolol. My foot was just slid back. Haha oh man

Is it just me, or are there a lot of feet pictures in this thread?

Good to know Im not the only one. I vaccum twice a week and do my own laundry. I tried to do hers but apparently my 100% communist cotton wardrobe has different requirements than the fancy girl stuff so needless to say im not aloud to touch it anymore.
One of the best things you ever did. I too am not allowed to touch the wife's laundry either!

Today when I got home from work I noticed I had a vanilla ice cream hand print on my black shirt. Nobody told me the whole day!
So seriously, you couldn't have posted a pic of that? :p

Just got to San Diego from Chicago. Great view I’m going to go see what sea life I can see around the shore of the Bay!!
Awesome view! I used to live bout 90 miles from San Diego for three years - and I have never been there. ;Wideyed

Here goes. My patrol partner had just gotten dumped. We were getting fuel and this really pretty girl was staring. I told him "see, she is totally checking you out", she then walks over and hands ME her phone number. I never saw that coming. He called everyone on our squad!
Everyone is a sucker for a hot redhead in uniform. ;)

@Katrina, guess what I just ahold of for free?

An 8 gallon biocube and the original spiral stand. :)
This thread has now come full circle - another new 8 gallon biocube! ;Joyful

The deal is, I am not keeping it.

I wasn't gonna say much but you guys need to see the website I set up.

Click on the top right link and you will see why I am not keeping it.

www.aquariums-by-design.com

The website isn't finished so don't be too harsh on me.
The site looks pretty good to me.

Omg your right. I knew that too, how did that not cross my mind lol. I’ll order a gate valve. What brand do you recommend?

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I am still pinching myself thinking I will wake up and it'll all be a dream.

I think you took the RED pill!

@dantimdad You know your cause is personal for me.

Oops he did it again...

Thanks!

Being that a dear friend has PTSD it is for me as well.

Plus, two boys going into the military and being having been in, it will definitely be special.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) states that the nation’s homeless veterans are predominantly male, with roughly 9% being female. The majority are single; live in urban areas; and suffer from mental illness, alcohol and/or substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders. About 11% of the adult homeless population are veterans.

Approximately 12,700 veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn (OND) were homeless in 2010

If you get a chance check this out a combat friend of mine and fellow physician made this documentary about veterans and the impact of PTSD etc.

You are doing a great thing!!

Those are staggering statistics!

Thanks for the link

I added a little Tippy Cow to my Vanilla Java Monster. Honesty. Even talking about this makes me remember things I want to forget.

Sorry Kat.

Perfect. One more question if it’s ok lol, how do I connect 1 inch return plumbing to loc line?
How are you running the returns? Drilled through the back with a bulkhead, or over the top? You can usually find whatever PVC adapter you need at HD or Lowe's. Bring the two parts you want to join up there and they should be able to help you find the right part.
