Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

@tdlawdo I think she is in good hands. Could you even give her Vancomycin?

Around here we don’t need Vanco yet. We can still get away with a shot of Rocephin followed by double dose Bactrim... with topical and good wound care. Fingers crossed!!

Not yet! Not if I can help it.. I have amputated too many fingers and thumbs the last month I need to save this one!!
Orthopedic surgeon?

It sucks in like a bellybutton. It moves back in the rock. It flips me off.
Sounds like my oversized emerald crab. Tried to get him out of the tank once and now he wedges between 2 rocks any time I come near the tank.

Anyone belong to world wide corals coral club? No LFS here and I order all my stuff and I’m ready to start adding coral soon..ish
Not me, but I was very happy with my first order from them recently. The corals looked exactly like their pictures and everything shipped super healthy.

Orthopedic surgeon?

No I’m an enigma. I was a veterinarian first and now I am a rural family physician on the side! So I travel around “Amish” country and other underserved rural communities doing house calls and do the full spectrum, minor surgeries, deliver babies, tons of ortho trauma care- fractures, tendon repairs, amputations and reattachments. As well as all the regular family medicine type stuff. I attend their deaths and births and everything in between. But my main two jobs are as a senior medical director for a major Blues plan out of Pittsburgh and a medical director for clinical and translational research unit where I am the medical director studying healthy aging as it relates to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

But yes I have been amputating or reattaching digits for two decades in my Amish community sometimes at my house, their house or in the bed of my pickup!

That’s so cool!

I love it. I take ride alongs all the time. Anyone is welcome to check it out some weekend
My old vet was the same way...not exactly sure it was legal, but there were always local farmers walking in with hands wrapped in towels. He was a good man.

Hands wrapped in towels? Injured? No real laws about who can participate or observe so long as nobody is misrepresenting themselves and has the patients approval. I started the process way back as Vet at the Philadelphia zoo. And then just continued it into my patients with less hair :).

So much country is now “million dollar homes”. Hard to watch sometimes.

I can see how bird poo and people poo could cause a ton of growth if fish poo makes them grow. I'm gonna need to borrow somebody tall...
bird poo comes out more as a liquid.

Thanks man. It should be more than enough for my 40b, pretty excited for this tank transfer now lol.

PaulB puts dirt in his tank on purpose.

I am old school but that freaks me out.

I was thinking of taking a ride to my old school and see if I could sweep up some dirt to put in my tank.
