This place chalks it full of ammonia (algae blooms at the plant every year) and chloramines so 7 stage is necessary.

I pretty much have the same set up, tap water is bad here too.

Anyone have any ideas what I should do with my clam. This sponge is growing on it and I can’t detach the clam to scrape it off. Not sure what to do.

@saltyfilmfolks any ideas for the sponge? I know you've got the reaper costume.

I have used my fingernail to peel one off, but I have no experience with clams. I'm not even sure it's a detriment.

I did some reading. Some sponges can be bad for a clam. I do see some pics that show sponges like yours and that side of the mantle does appear to be irritated by them. I would remove it with a toothbrush if you can't peel it off easily.

Mine peeled off almost like GSP does. You might be able to do it in the tank.

I'll. Have to look it up. My music was right before bball games mostly rap. Helped me to get ready for the games. It also calmed my nerves. Mostly snoop, biggie,Warren G, tupac but some matalica made it in the mix

I have to respectfully disagree with you. I do this because I, too, love arbitrary numbers. However, in this case, your 10,000th post is not an arbitrary number because it has reason and follows a system rather than being random. And it's a great reason to be happy!
