WOW! How is the tailspot?

He’s started to move a little bit and check out the tank.

Both are a lot more shook up than my clowns. The clowns were doing backflips at this point in qt.

Since tailspots don’t have scales and wrasses don’t qt well, I’m going to bring up copper levels very very slowly. The tank is at 50% levels of what I normally run.

Put your tailspot in the tank. Most don't survive qt.

Can you just qt without meds? Observation only?

My lfs, who is a very active qt writer on here, keeps her tailspots just fine in medicated tanks.

This one however did not come from that lfs as the one I had my eye on was purchased. I'm confident that he'll be fine for a month if I just very slowly raise levels. You have to do that for wrasses any ways.

I'm kind of even more uptight about qt now, if anything ever happened to my clowns I'd be beside myself.

They get more excited to see me than my dog does sometimes and love to get pet when I feed them. They are also VERY VERY close to each other. They are never more than an inch or two apart, always snuggling.
