Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

So now what do we do with this thread? Do we put it to rest with the Miracle? Do we continue and make the Miracle thread all stiff upper lipped? Do we just include the Miracle here? I know how I feel, but what about y'all?
I know I’m new here (just jumped In yesterday), but here‘s my two cents anyway. I’m only up to page 20, and I can already tell how special you are. Absolutely, you should do whatever your heart tells you to do. I have no doubts, the people on this thread will respect your choice, and follow wherever you go!

Sending hugs and prayers from my family to yours.

It will. The Miracle Tank has been a fun distraction.
Definitely a fun distraction.
I got the 50 cube going today.
Have a bunch of things that need fine tuning over the next week or so.
But all in all I'm happy with it.
Dory went into the other larger tank today.
I need to put rocks in the 50 cube, just sand, fish and water right now.
The return pump flex line has small dribble that needs adjustment/ fixing.
I'll probably have to adjust the heater tomorrow.
I'll post pics tomorrow too.

That looks very nice. Where is Dory. Bigger tank you said.
Yes sir.
She hid in the bigger tank today, she hasn't been exposed to an aquarium light in a month now.
I found her hiding behind the overflow in the dark lol.
I pulled the overflow and and put it back in quick that got her to come out for a few minutes and eat then she went back to hide for the night.
I'm sure she'll be out on her own in the next day or two, just needs to adjust to the bright tank compared to just daylight and a ceiling light on.

I'm also switching salt again.
I switched to Tropic Marin Pro last summer.
Now switching to the Tropic Marin Classic.
I want to run 9 to 9.5 alk and that salt does exactly that while only being 10 to 15 ppm less in calc. compared to the Pro.
Seems easier to me to just use that salt instead of spiking my current pro with soda ash every time I make SW.
Might as well use the salt with the params I want and then start dosing from there when it becomes necessary down the road some day.

Sad news. No sign of the pipefish this morning. I had been warned that she wouldn't be with us long. Nothing we did wrong, just to expect it.
