Some basic 101 questions on clown breeding...

I've got what I hope will be a breeding pair of Purcular Clowns and I'm going to place them into my breeding tank with only a terracotta pot in it..

- Lower the salinity to about 1.022
- Raise water temperature to 80f/26c
- run a light for 12-14 hours a day
- Increase feeding

Is there anything else you must do to get them breeding...

If you use the R2R search function (which can be found by selecting the magnifying glass in the top right) to search for “breeding clownfish”, you will find several similar conversations that may be helpful. Additionally, I have found the book on clownfish by Wilkerson to be very helpful. Good luck!

Google "pickles guide to breeding clowns" and you'll find a great write up of how to successfully breed clownfish.
