Any suggestions on why I cant dial in this bubble magus skimmer.? Tank is only up about 3 weeks now but its mostly a transfer from existing tank so its not brand new.

Right now I have it set on max but I had it on 4 - 5 for a good week. I am not sure which adjustment would help as I see no real difference when I turn the knob.

Is my water level ok? I only have about 1 inch to play with in the sump I was hoping this was ok?

Advice?

Yes I also think water level it is quite low. For the little older models it should be between 9.5" and 11"

So I had my Octo VarioS 4 set on 2 and I moved it up to 3 and opened my valve more while raising the baffle.

Long story short I have the water height stable in my sump with baffle all the way up so that skimmer is in about 9 or 10 inches of water.
