Hey all.

I have a question about the switch functionality and programming for breakout box

I want to have a sw01 to close another switch for a longer time.

Let’s say my float sensor is closed on sw01 and will turn on my outlet, in this outlet I want it to set sw2 closed and open a virtual outlet

Switch has 2 states open/closed , but can you program it to be closed or open

Etc. if sw01 closed then sw02 closed

Or

If my outlet is on then set sw02 closed (to send close signal to a input on another control)

regards

You can not close a switch from the state of another switch.

Not exactly sure what your trying to do, but each switch state is independent, and you can not use an OR in your programming.

It also sounds lie you are trying to use a BOB Input (SW02) as an output, switches are input only in APEX. You would need to use an output (110 plug/24V/0-10V) to trigger an outside device.

If you can explain what you are trying to do, I'm betting someone will have a clever idea.
