Hello!

My build is coming towards the end finally. My Apex will be located in my basement fishroom. I will have a second Energy Bar 832 under my display cabinet for lighting and Tunze pumps connected to the Apex in the basement via Aquabus. I also want to have an emergency shut-off button, feed mode button and a cabinet lighting switch under my display all controlled by Apex via a Breakout Box. In my fishroom, I want another emergency shut-off and a maintenance mode button. What is the best way to accomplish this with only the one Breakout Box? Can I run the wiring for my buttons and switches from the basement to my display (it would be about 40')? Or, is there a better way to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

It should not be any problem to run long wires to the breakout box. You can also easily test this in advance by simply connecting the switches to the breakout box with long wires prior to actually running the wires through the floor.
