I don't see why not if you could manage to isolate them but you would have to risk a lot dying to find a pair

Its not hard to get them to spawn, but raising the larvae would be quite a chore. The larvae would have to be housed in a kreisel style tank and fed copepods and fresh artemia nauplii throughout the day. The toughest part is that they remain larvae for somewhere near 70-90+ days. You could certainly try, but that's what you'd be dealing with in a nutshell. In the main tank they will not survive, but make for a great snack for the other inhabitants.
