I have long considered collecting Elegans or Serratus from the rock pools here but am worried about the current temperature difference between rock pools and my tank. Any advice?

Just acclimatize them like other inverts. match temperature and salinity over 30mins or so. They are hardy so there shouldn't be any issues.
