Bricked WAV pumps. Fix?

So I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING about this pump. EXCEPT Reliability.
And so I’ve just taken it in the chin and keep replacing and finding used. So I have a nice WAV grave yard. Wondering if anyone tools on these things. Whatever the failure is it’s NOT mechanical. Definitely prob circuitry. I’m just hoping and praying for a WAV 2.0 bc once you get used to having ZERO power bricks and controller there’s really no way of going back.
Just wondering if there’s anyone out there soldering iron in hand and successfully replacing the Chinese $ 3.19 flux capacitor for example. Or if it’s nasa level involved

I guess if you can figure out how to remove the potting without melting the whole thing. When they’re done, they’re done. I have a graveyard too. Several were still under warranty but they stopped making them a long time ago and I wasn’t going to accept the 15% discount they offered for Nero’s. I totally understand the frustration and enjoyed not having power bricks everywhere. I bought cheap Jebao gyres to hold me over until wavs were available again but they’re officially dead, finally. They kept saying that they needed a part to manufacture them again (for like three years!, must be some fancy part!). They had a few kits available for about a week a couple years ago but they went quick!. Now they finally say that they’re discontinued. The cheap Jebaos have lasted longer than most of my wavs.

There are whispers of a 2.0 possibly even a gyre type. Aside from the power bricks, I am so so deep into the apex ecosystem and am VERY unhappy with the lackluster alternatives (hydros) there’s no way I can switch. I’d get out of the hobby. The fact that they are not standing behind and perfecting the MXM a) speaks a little bit to the whispers of new hardware releases and b) really makes me not want to switch into mp40 / mobius world

I’ll believe it when I see it. A lot of us were hoping for mp (vortech)style pumps with a 1Link connector (no power brick and natively controllable), but that was years ago and nothings come out. After four or five years of a product not being available and no replacement in sight, I’m not holding my breath.

Of a Neptune Wave? No. It is an unfortunate ripple effect of the merger(s) and discontinued. This was stated by Neptune earlier in the year. They didn't go into details. There is a Gyre that will work, AI Orbits, using the MXM module. Obviously not the same as the WAV.
