Bright red algae on snail shell

What’s the bright red algae on this trochus snail? Some kind of coraline? I’ve never seen a bright red one.

Looks like coraline to me. I get spots like that around my tank now and again.

Yep, I’ve had orange coraline. It faded away unfortunately

Coraline often takes on a fluorescent orange color as it's dying.

I often see that after a major water change, if some of the coraline has gotten dry while I'm working.

That could be it because it’s gone now.
