I am starting a clownfish breeding system without sand and was looking at putting the live rock in the sump for bacteria to grow. I recently saw people using the
Brightwell Aquatics Xport-Bio biological filtration dimpled bricks in there sump and they don’t have any sand or live rock. Is this something that works or should I stick with the live rock?
Thanks
Jon

Finally got everything setup. About to cycle the tank. Do I seed the bio brick with microbactor7 and use microbactor startxlm and the quickcycle in the tank? Or seed the brick with microbactor7 and use the quick cycle in the tank?
thanks
