Excellent. Vid shows a bristleworm I think. The body isn’t reddish enough for fireworm I think.

Are you sure Kris? It could be a nano version of Godzilla or possibly a larval miniature Mothra..
Good point. It's still early and I haven't had enough beers to properly identify these foreign film stars without a TV guide.

🙃

Edit:
I do think the OP's video should get a nomination for filmography excellence! I was shuttering in my boots as the monster swang around the aquarium!

Honestly if it’s a regular ol bristle, I’d just leave it alone. Never had problem with them. I do admit I had one that was about 15 inches one time that was a little off putting.

Yeah. I have hundreds and most are much thinner. This one is just about as thick as my my pinky and probably a foot. I cut the video short for upload size reasons.

My coral beauty went from happy, fat, eating and normal on Tuesday to just completely gone without a trace yesterday. So I’m a little on edge trying to figure out what happened.

It was the biggest fish by a mile 4” long, the next biggest is the female clown at like 2.5”.

She is a jerk but I didn’t figure with as much rock work and space as I have she could kill the CB and the be nothing left the day after. Granted, I do have a bunch of these worms cleaning it up.

My other theory is it jumped and the dog had a snack.

Never underestimate the power of the CUC to disappear a body overnight. They are more efficient than the mob on land! SOrry you lost the angel.

Have yet to see bristle worms eat anything that was living and healthy. As much as people want to post about them eating corals and such, I don’t trust that type of post. Unless they are miss identifying the creature. Had a Duncan die a while back. Turned out it was because of tank parameters. But the worms kept picking at it. Looking closely they were eating the dead tissue. I had 3” fish die out of nowhere and the my bristles make a meal of them over night.

To say that they will eat a healthy fish is not correct. Fireworm or bobbit another story.

Yeah. I’m not thinking a bristle worm killed anything. This one was just so much bigger than normal and had a body bigger than than the bristles.

My primary suspect is the clownfish killing it and the CuC cleaning things up.
