I have been wanting to add some brittle stars to my tank but I also have bristle worms and I’ve heard they can prey on brittles any idea on how many bristles are to many? These are what I picked off my rocks so far during water change.

I have plenty of both.

I find it very weird with my system .
it almost goes in cycles switching from pods , brittle stars
Bristle worms are rarely found in my filter cloth

but it will go months when changing the filter cloth it’s covered in tiny brittle stars .
that somehow changes to no stars but filled with pods and again to bristle worms .
but always one or the other .
