Hey everyone,

i just came across a bristleworm in my reef tank but i dont have any live rocks in the tank. I only purchased man made reef rocks. How was it able to hitchhike? Can someone tell me?

Frags? Snails? Hermits? If you've got any of those then there's your answer. Those buggers can hide in some tiny spots.

Can be from inverts or if you purchased a fish ended up in the bag. Although not welcomed in my tanks are not harmful unless you touch them with bare fingers

Definitely a hitchhiker. I found a small one snugged between the plastic cup protector and the coral when it was delivered.
