Is this a normal bristle worm or a fireworm? It’s not red so not sure. Any help is appreciated.

I was afraid of that. Now I have to set up a trap
Actually, calm down. If it's the one I think it is, should be easy to catch and scoop up. See if you can lure it out with some dead shrimp.
Edit: have some tweezers or tongs with a nice grip ready and just grab him. They don't move very fast.

It's really hard to tell without a picture of the head, but from the looks of it I'd say it may be a fireworm. If you can get a look at its head it's easy to identify a bearded fire worm (Hermodice carunculata) because it will have a very noticeable caruncle. It will look like a feathery thing on its head.

I possibly have a lot of fireworms then ☹️
Probably not. If you have a bunch of them and they've never caused any issues then they're probably just common bristleworms. Like I've already mentioned looking at the head for a obvious caruncle is the most reliable way to tell if it is a bearded fireworm.

I have quite a few fireworms in the tank. I noticed a few more after lights out. They must’ve come in with the live rock I purchased. Set a trap last night. We’ll see how many we caught
