My MP40 dryside died, and couldn't figure out why. I was going to buy a new motor, but decided to break it open and check out whats going on inside... and I found this:

I'm guessing this black thing on the bearings is the likely cause... would you be able to sell me just that part, or do you only supply whole motors?

Call or email Ecotech.

I've just recently acquired several older vortechs and all of them needed various amounts of "refurbishing".

They were super easy to work with and made me some outstanding deals to get them back up and working again .... in fact I think all of them are now the latest QD versions .....
Even after the initial purchase price of the older models and the cost to upgrade/repair - I still think it ended up costing less than buy four new ones.

Anyway, give them a call.
I'm sure they'll take care of you.
