Broken trumpet coral?

I just broke off my trumpet coral from the frag base and I'm worried I broke it weird and that its going to die now here's a couple of pictures. I was breaking it off the plug to glue it in my aquarium to a rock. Do you guys think it's going to die since it broke off oddly?
