Is this Trumpet a goner?

Is my Trumpet a goner? I am going on vacation in a week and wondering if I should remove it before it starts to rot.. I moved it to the sandbed for less light and flow, but it isn't looking any better. Parameters and other coral doing fine..

I’d leave him.
He’s not going to cause issues.

Yeah, even if he dies while on vacation it should not impact your tank.

But you gotta do whatever it is to let you relax on vacation too.
