Brown/Black Skeleton on Monti Digitata

Has anyone ever had/scene this issue? Overnight, the skeleton on my digi turned a dark brown… not sure what’s going on. I had a previous frag do this as well, but it was more black than brown.

Parameters:
Po4: 1.11
No3: 10.7
Alk: 10.7 (Hanna)
Sg: 1.026-1.027

Any ideas? It’s the orange digi, next to that green confusa.

Your phos level elevated and the brown are is an area likely lacking both light and water flow

Po4 is definetly elevated.

You think that brown spot is lack of flow? I guess it could be. That frag is right in the stream of one of my power heads tho. That’s what I was originally thinking but it didn’t make sense…

Less light = more zooxanthellae needed to feed the coral.
zooxanthellae is brownish color.

Do you know par?

I don't know what Par is at that level in the tank. I do have other SPS (more light demanding) within the same level horizontally in the tank. The "colony" of that specific digi was originally lower in the tank and it was happy and growing. I'm starting to think it might be a flow issue. Going to have to watch after work this evening and triple check. Both that piece of digitata and confusa next to it haven't really grown since being placed, and that was at least 2 months ago. There isn't any signs of new growth either, except for that leg closest to the viewer in the photo.
