Help me find out what this is

Looks like chrysophytes to me.

Is it slimy/dusty? (A weird combo of both.)

A type of "golden algae" and it seems to be sorta like having dino's. (Cue celebration...)

I would siphon it out as often as necessary and figure out what promoted its growth.

Can you post complete water test results, epsicially no3 and po4?

Also, can you tell us how old the tank is, how it was started and how it's being cleaned and filtered?
