Restarted my 125 gallon tank after a 2 year break. Added new AI Hydra 64 lights and 40 lbs of CarriSea “Live” Special sand. Tank cycled and shortly after saw brown algae (diatom) on glass and rocks. Now I’m see this brown hair like algae and I need help ID-ing. I don’t see this in my sump only a little bit of GHA. Please see pictures attached. Thanks in advance for your help.

Howdy
I assume you want to get rid of it. Do you have any turbo snails. They will eat a lot of alages.

I have several nassarius snail and a few blue leg hermit crabs. I'll pick up some turbo snails this weekend. How many do your recommend for a 125G?

I would get big ones. 2 to 5 should work. If you get too many and they dont have enough to eat, you can always trade them for store credit
