Brown Jelly on Digitata?

Aplogies if this is the wrong thread to post this on, but I just noticed what looked like a ball of algae on the tip of a green digi.

It wouldn't blow off and looked pretty jelly-like so I cut off the affected area. On closer inspection I'm not sure if it is BJD or just algae? Havent seen it anywhere else in the tank - appreciate any help identifying it from the photograph. Thanks!

Definitely algae, but what kind I am not sure

I’m no expert but it kinda looks like sea lettuce algae. Which has kinda a slimy jelly like texture.
I don’t think sps can get bjd or at least I’ve never heard of them getting it.

The algae pictured is Ulva, commonly known as sea lettuce.
