Brown patches on torch tentacles??!

Saw these on 2 of my torches today. They look healthy except for the fact they have these brown patches on em? Any guesses on what it is?

If you look closely theres like little brown patches. They were never like that before idk what it is.

Those unfortunately look to be flatworms. If they are euphyllia eating variety, you will want to dip/quarantine.

I was reminded of this reef builder video where Jake Adam’s has a beautiful holy grail torch in his flatworm colony! :grinning-squinting-face: Only kidding, they aren’t all harmful apparently.

Check this whole thread to get some good perspective, seems like there are multiple ways to deal with it. Ideally you dip before putting a new coral in your tank and never have to run across it. I personally used coral revive on my new euphyllia. Nature finds a way though!

Coral looks good. Assure calcium is not below 400
