I’ve suddenly noticed a lot of these small brown things all over the sandbed. Had a bit of a panic. Asked Chat GBT and it says it’s a good sign and is the tank maturing and is waste from sand dwelling critters. Does this seem right or is this another bad thing I need to deal with 🙈 4 or so months into this reef life and I’m about ready to give up! It’s just one thing after another.

Did you ever find out what these were? I'm on my 8th week and just had the same exact things pop up on my sanded within hours. I only have 2 fish, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 4 snails
