Brown stringy slimey algae

I’ve had this tank for about a year and a half and had no problems. Hard to take a pic with the light. But u have this brown slimy, stringy algae that came from nowhere. I can do almost a 75% water change, remove everything. And the next day it’s all back. Any tips, recommendations, or solutions?
