1) high alkalinity and low nutrients .
2) light intensity too bright .

Burn or brown?
Burn would be what Rmckoy listed, imo.
Brown could be low lighting, alk swing, high nutrients. Maybe the coral is just not happy about something.

I am having issues with PH swing
ALk is 8.4
Cal is low
Mag is low
I will be testing today and will post my results.
My tank is a 120 gallon.

Ph swings from night and day are normal. Is this what you mean?
Mag at 1350+ will help stabilize with swinging alk/cal.

Is that real live rock or rock you cycled and call live?
It looks pretty white.
Are you still having trouble with brown tips?
How old is this tank?
His did you cycle it?
Where did the rock come from?

Is it Florida or Indo-Pacific liverock?

I ask because I have noticed something similar in my Florida liverock tanks.
