The large BRS C02 Scrubber has a drain port on the bottom of the canister. Is anyone running a drain hose directly off of this into a collection cup rather than just periodally draining it? I am planning on installing a C02 scrubber on my system and planning ahead before I purchase anything. Thanks

I don't think that you want to leave it open all the time. There is a negative pressure inside the canister when the skimmer is pulling air through it. Leaving the drain port open the skimmer will pull air through the port most likely preventing it from draining properly and reducing the effectiveness of the scrubber.
