My rescue system has some problems, but I am afraid maybe my RO water is making it take longer.

New system used to read 150-200 TDS coming in, and ~5 when it comes out.

Now it says 16 coming in and 0 going out. Is something wrong. My resin for the final chamber is still blueish with only a thin layer of orange after probably 100 gallons+ of filtered water? I thought it was only supposed to last so long?

Any advice, just want to make sure my water is good before I continue to fix other issues in the rescue tank.

When you say "coming in", do you mean coming into the DI (after RO)?

I have BRS 6 stage so, just for reference, my TDS readings are usually:
Source water about 475 TDS (checked with handheld meter)
Post RO = 10-12 TDS
Final = 0 TDS
*waste water around 660 TDS (handheld)

Oh I see, so I am not actually reading the hose TDS but the TDS after the first 4 stages and final TDS after 5th stage?

I guess that's what I was asking.

If your BRS unit has the dual-position, mounted meter with the switch, and that's what you're looking at, then I'd say "yes" to your last question.
