I guess I am rather confused by the "latest" BRS Investigates regarding UV.

According to the "investigation" it appears that UV really has no long term effect on algae...?

In the end the message isn't that UV will be a complete solution to algae on its own, but rather a part of an algae management approach. In some of the follow up livestreams and conversations in Ryan's UV videos we talk about UV in this manner, using it as an additional tool for the tool bag. :)
