I beat my battle with bryopsis with boiling hot RO water and a turkey baster. I didn't do a lot at a time, but every couple days I'd boil a cup or two of water and go to work until the water was gone, repeat.

It's very very satisfying to watch all the color leave in an area about the size of a quarter. mwahahahahaha.
But that doesnt help if its on a frag or close to coral.
If it just turns brown, do you pull it off and let it go through your filters?

You're right it doesn't. I was lucky I could attack mine that way. I didn't pull it, I just left it and the brown left overs would disappear in a day or so.
