You sure have that tank packed with corals. Looking at the pictures, it looks like you had better light spread with the T5's. The pictures look like there's a lot of shading on the ends of your tank.

everything is smushed into the center portion of the tank atm as I make the flow correct with the addition of the jabeo wp25. so looks a bit dense but that's how I like my tanks full of color and coral. "mixed reef"....I would agree the light spread on a 40 b is better suited with the 3 footer t5's ...the reef radiance is obviously made for a 2 foot sections. but the quality of light IMO is better with the LED even with the darker edges. I have been using the darker ends to acclimate corals into the higher light zones.. its always been my plan to add at least 2 t5 blues to this setup as the blue on the LED will be maxed out way sooner than the whites. but at the same time the sterile look of florescent lighting has always leaved something to be desired by me....when under t5 kinda makes the tank feel like a cubicle at some random corperate office in somewhere in America.

still adjusting coral positioning and flow. think my jabeo wp10 needs a new controller box... will work for a few minutes after being reset by unplugging and plugging in. one of the functions has been unusable for a few days. so only using my return and 1 wp25 for flow. so still trying to find the happy spot for a few corals. this is week 5 of no fish. the amph and copepod and mysid shrimp has blossomed like mad. very much enjoying the no fish time and conscidering running a low fish load in this reef. reaserching the viability of doing a angler like a warty frogfish and a small school of 3 or 5 green chromis....would serve as nice color and movement and demand feeding on the angler. my only hang up at this point is will my flow need to be too much for this docile animal.
