So I have this rose colored bta who was happy for MONTHS…then he closed up completely like 3 months ago and I thought he died (just stuck to the rock about the size of a pea). Well, I wasn’t for sure so I kept an eye on him and left him (never opened). So about a month ago I decided it’s time to say goodbye and pick him off the rock…but when I did I SWEAR he responded! So as not to traumatize him I left him (I might add my tank is fully cycled and all my parameters are good). Well, I bought another bta (from same family) and even though they aren’t close by in the tank the next day my “dead” bta was moved about an inch! THEN I swear he has slightly puffed up at the bottom! what the heck?! I have TONS of freshwater experience but saltwater is relatively new to me. He still ain’t looking live a revival case but there is life there. What’s going on here???
