Bta feeding

I got a green bta yesterday. Should I spot feed it once or twice a week? I usually just dump the frozen mysus in the tank and it gets,a little bit to eat each day from what falls into it. I got some fresh shrimp from the store that is uncooked and frozen. That I might cut up and feed it .

Up to you, as long as your lights and parameters are good there is actually no need to feed them. Of course feeding will speed up growth

Sounds to me like if you are feeding broadcast like that, it will get enough. I wouldn't spot feed in this case

I feed like this every single day. I get 2 babies every month from my momma nem and the bubbles are INSANE. Momma + her babies in homemade nem cups

It’s actually just my phone (iPhone 8) with the $30 icecap lens (macro and orange filters used)

When I feed my tank a homemade frozen blend, I'll save a piece for the end. The warm water thaws it to a point to where I can break it into smaller 1/4" pieces and feed them to my 2 BTAs. I had great success feeding like this every day and have noticed their unhappiness when I miss feeding for a few days.

Agreed, mine stop bubbling and get super stringy after about a week of no feeding. Went on vacation for a week so the nem didn’t get fed and this is what happened

So feeding them shrimp from the market is ok? I got a condy today and I’m feeding it dried shrimp.
