BTA found its way into filter sock!

So my BTA decided to go for a walk from where it’s been for months now and then vanished! I assumed it had found its way to somewhere not readily viewable so didn’t worry too much.

Then last night I went to change my filter socks over and found the little bigger had apparently made its way through the slats in the overflow, through the siphon, past the muffler, and down into the sump where it’s apparently been hanging out in a filter dock for two days…

Managed to get it back into the tank… it looks mostly intact but about 1/4 it’s old size.

Update: Upon further investigation it seems to have done a stress-split while in the overflow so now I have two tiny poorly looking nems…
