This has been in my tank for three weeks now, and has actually split as you can see in the second photo. Not sure what it is but it does look like a BTA. Posted once for id thinking it might be a majano, but apparently not...at least according to all the majano photos I have seen.

Neither of them is any bigger than a nickle. Both fold up like an anemone, the tentacles are almost always bubbled, but can get "stringy" just like a BTA...but one this small?

Thanks!

I still think Mojano, but I dont know if Mojanos split,I kinda forgot.

probably Mojanos, mine looked the same and i didnt want to take the chance so i got rid of mine. mojanos can split fast and are very small too.

"The Manjano Anemone can quickly reach plague proportions in captivity. Corals and other anemones are the most affected by this pest. This anemone needs to be removed as soon as possible. Once this pest anemone gets a foothold, manual removal to keep populations in check, may very well become an ongoing activity. Natural predators such as the Peppermint shrimp Lysmata wurdemanni can be added to control them. But the problem is, these same predators may also go after some of your desirable corals"

Thanks for the link, great article. looks like I will be on killing patrol this weekend.

not a problem im always happy to help, i just got some live rock the other day and i found 2 of them on the rock. one fell right off the rock but the other stayed so i took the rock out for a week and used a scalpel to cut it off, and scrubbed the area w/ a tooth brush and rinsed it with some reg chlorinated tap water to try to kill what was left then i rinsed it several time w/ DI/RO water. while it was out i searched the rock for bristle worms as a precaution.
