How do you stop your BTA getting sucked into a powerhead? I have 4 powerheads in my reef. All of them are the round powerheads wit out a base like the koralia powerheads. I have 5 BTA in my reef right now.. and one of them is on the move... I ended up turning off one of my powerheads as he was too close.

If a BTA ends up in a powerhead does it sting and kill your entire tank?

thanks!

There are different solutions depending on the powerhead.
Ecotech makes foam covers for their Vortechs.
Maxspect makes plastic mesh covers for their Gyres.
I've seen third-party 3D-printed plastic covers for Vortechs.
Another consideration is putting your powerheads on pulse mode so that they may release a trapped nem.
Or with Gyres, alternating mode so that it will actually push the nem away during half of the cycle.

My anemones move when they are going to split or are unhappy for some reason. In my tank the lower ones get overshadowed by the bigger ones above them, so they move to get more light.
