BTA too small?

I just picked up a GBTA last week and I'm wondering if its too small to put in the DT with my maroons? It's only about 1.5" across and it's in the sump for now. Seems like if the clowns try to host it they will crush it.

They won't crush it if they try to host now. If they are like my clowns, it will be in your tank for months before they even bother to venture over to it.

My last experience with maroon clowns and BTA was the opposite. I added the BTA to my tank and the maroons went into it immediately.

My maroon pair took several weeks to go into a BTA. I have a few nems that are smaller and sometimes the maroons will split up and each sit in one, the huge female will sometimes lay on top of a tiny nem. It looks absurd but she hasn't hurt the little nems at all. They only seem to actually "care for" the main nem that the male is always in. Who knows though? It seems like outcomes vary with these guys.
