After a tank crash and a large 'investment' in corals getting literally thrown out....I have decided to concentrate on BTAs as I have has some reasonable success. To date, I have seen two major varieties...green and red. Yes, the marketing machine of lineage naming makes identification difficult..but once you get past the Super Rare Ultra Hand Fed Aquacultured Holy Grail Sunburst BTA of the Colorado Widow Gods marketing BS....I have only seen two major color morphs...red and green. Yes...they have different color discs. Yes they have different shades. Yes the color blending from disk to tip is different. But in the end..i have seen red and green. Am I missing something? Are there other color morphs out there? Been looking around and all i see....you guessed it...red and green varieties.

Thanks!!

Yeah, that probably came across wrong. I actually really like some of the brown with white/gray tipped BTA's.

I would say that there are variations of red, orange, green and purple BTAs out there.

Chicago sunburst is what my dealer calls her expensive ones.
Also there's Sherman's.
And tri colors.
Reds and greens are basics. Speckled imo is best with that white frost look.
Can be called ultras. Or A grades ect.

Lol ye I feel ya petco usually has LTA for 50$ wish I could get lucky and get one for 12. The Condys are 20$ and I thought they were white / pink. Took it home and realized it’s green / purple lol
