he used to be the size of a tennis ball now he is the size of a quarter will he make it or do I need to go ahead and get him out before my tank crashes?

The damage is done. Do a water change to remove any toxins. Run some carbon.
It might and might not make it. I would put it in a QT tank or back in the display.

All you can do is set it somewhere shady without a lot of flow and light so it can maybe reattach and heal. I've seen things worse that have healed, whether yours does depends on the nem god's I suppose.

It might make it, put it somewhere it can't get sucked up into another power head. I had one go into my Gyre, the main part of the remains was under one of my rocks & I couldn't get it. When I got home it was gone & there appeared to be white stuff on my anemone guard on my Nero 5.

The Anemone Guards don't seem to work on anemone pieces.... Gyre guard should be coming tuesday... Thankfully my black widow hasn't moved since I put it in 4 weeks ago (please don't jinx this...)

Anything I can put in the water to heal it faster and I’m just now settling up a Qt tank do I need to have anything special or just have saltwater and a light? Also what percentage of water change should I do?

Change 20%.
The nem will need a little flow, some rock to hide in or attach to. Do not try to feed it.

Sorry about the loss
Well I’m hoping my BTA was not a loss but sometimes things happen. It happened in the middle of the night and I heard my pump grind and stop so I got up in the middle of the night cleaned it good then put it back and it worked didn’t think much of it but then in the morning I saw that pice of him and put two and two together. Also the water was so cloudy and slimy so I knew what happened.

This is what he looks like this morning don’t know yet? Looks as though as his mouth is intact but his foot had split in half I have a very low light medium flow and should I put some iodine in the water would that help, what about amino acids magnesium and calcium/alkalinity?

At this time, I wouldn’t worry about additives or treatment, just give it a comfortable place to recover and see what happens. Goodluck.
