BTA's galore

I'm new to anemones and got a rainbow BTA about 6 months ago. It was tiny, about the size of a quarter. Since then s/he has split 4 times and I now have 5 rainbow BTAs all getting a fairly decent size. Is this normal? Before and after is the first pic below.

Second question, should I move them around? They are currently in the top left of the tank (second pic). I don't want them on the bottom of my tank because I have a bunch of acans and a scoly down there. i'm thinking of moving one over to the top right rock in the photo.

One BTA, two BTA, Three BTA, Four... Welcome to BTA ownership. We started with 1 and within a year had two. Two became three. Move one to a 29 gallon cube, it got lonely, and at 5. Merged tanks to a 40 breeder and the number increased to 14...see the pattern? I thought I had it bad then came across a member who's tank was overrun with them - similar to what one would see with Xenia and/or Green Star Polyps.

As far as moving they will find the spot they prefer. However, if they are attached to a rock that you could pick up without damaging the foot you could move it. Basically you have to move the whole rock that it is attached to. Another option I've heard works is direct flow - low flow. Not to pressure wash or blast but more of a controlled low direct flow. They may not like that and it will move.

What’s weird is two of them them on my back wall for weeks stuck to the coralline algae
