Bubble algae on Rainbow Chalice, best dip options

I am very thorough on dipping and scrubbing my corals, this one was dipped in CoralRX and H2o2 before adding to my tank. Now a few months late i was seeing in not as puffy and then realized the dreaded bubble algae. Dont have a qt tank or space for it right now but trying to contain this as much as possible. Also dont really want to do vibrant, i had a bad experience with carbon dosing killing most of my sps in the past

im planning a scrub and dip but just want to know the best for bubble algae specifically, i have coral rx, lugols solution, and h2o2 on hand rn

I did not know of any dips that took care of bubble algae so I will be interested to hear the input.

I have used the peroxide dip on them. Scrape all the bubbles well to break them all. Then peroxide dip and toothbrush scrub the plug and rubble while dipping

what ratio water to peroxide you think? worst case i can take out of the water and dab on straight h2o2 with a qtip but its such a nice piece i dont really want to hurt it

Probably good plan to just hit the plug and not do a complete dip. I usually do about 50/50 mix. Definitely need to scrub it or scrape the bubbles so peroxide can work on all the stuff inside the bubbles. Then soft toothbrush around the base and plug with the mix for a couple minutes. Just be careful not to hit the tissue with the brush

I'd just pull them off with a tweezers. You should be able to remove them without popping the bubble. You can then spot treat with H202 if desired, but I dont know how effective it is. You can drop bubble algae straight into H202 and not much happens. Emerald crabs generally work great for bubble algae though.

Ok treating with straight h2o2 and manual removal, will let you know in 2-3 months if it actually works for good. Not gonna buy from this vendor anymore though, unless its an acro i can fully cut off the plug
