Bubble Blaster Pump/Reef Octopus

Anyone know if the Circle and Square Volutes are interchangeable? I broke the circle one taking it off the skimmer since it had seized. There appear to be more holes than the round one was using, so I'm thinking it's possible? Thank!

I'd drop their support an email or call, they're awesome to deal with. I switched from an older pump to the varios and got the right adapter with their help. I've had 3 support tickets and every one was superb, they're my goto brand from now on.
