Bubble in Sump

The force of the drain is causing major bubbles and turbulence in my sump, so I had a few thoughts, first I could use a filter sock, I have heard it works although I never planned on using one. The other idea is to put a series of 45's to slow down the flow into the sump, kinda like this.

Well you don't want to slow down the water to much because that will cause the overflow to back up. If you slowed it to much your return pump may be to strong and cause an issue. I would look into making a bubble tower. Just do a google search and you can find a couple different ideas on them.
