Iv been having issue with my Bubble Magus 3EX Extreme Curve , Currently It’s sitting in 5in of Water From The Suggested 7-8 in. It’s been in my tank for about 1 Month.Installed is an air valve on the air line. It running fine for multiple hours and out no where starts to go crazy for a while without the addition of food or anything else , I do see it go crazy sometimes when the ATO kicks on for some reason but it’s doesn’t fall in that chamber to begin with . Tank about 1.5M Old worse case I’d figure I’d see an oposite effect and it not skimming at all.

It could be that your ato is raising the water level higher than the skimmer is set for (most likely) or that theres residue in your ato (less lilely imo) that causes a skimmer to go crazy

Yea it’s weird because the water shouldn’t fluctuate in that chamber but this skimmer has been a bit of a headache I may try to raise just half a in more and hope that it stops

This Is what it does randomly and begins to overflow and happens out of no where. You can see it creates excessive bubbles
