Ordered on BRS as it was on sale for $200. It’s rated for 90 gallong heavily stocked. Mine is a 75 gallon but the sump is 40 gallon breeder. Not set up yet. Working on the plumbing.

Im guessing the actual volume of the display is closer to 65ish when accounting for sand and rocks. The sump probably aboit 30 gallons. So Im figuring on a total of aboit 95 gallons sump
and display.

Stock is 3 clownfish, 2 cherub angels, 1 peppermint shrimp, four snaile and about 20 blue leg hermits.

Does this seem about right for this skimmer?

Im upgrading to a 125 gallon in a few months so wanted something to go with the upgrade. Have two goniopora frags, four zoa frags and two duncan frags ( getting chomped on by Angel fish lol).

Kinda want the freedom to feed more and not have to hump water changes every week.

Those ratings are guidelines, ime. A good skimmer will keep the water looking good and the tank well oxygenated.

With your light fish load I don’t think you will have any issues.

Would you say they are over or under rated for tank volume and Bio Load?
