Hi guys, I just purchased a Bubble Magus A5 for my tank, I read it's a love or hate skimmer and many have issue with it overflowing so, what's you experience with it and do you have any tips on how to get it to work properly?
So far I got that:
- raising the skimmer to make it work in like 7 inches (instead of the 8 suggested by the manufacturer) helps
- this skimmer has a pretty long break-in time so maybe a water/vinegar run before placing it in the sump may be good
- there is supposedly a "v2" version with an additional hole somewhere to increase the outgoing water flow that should prevent overflowing, anyone has info about this?
